The City of Igualada and CEINA company, announces the XVII Digital Art Prize Jaume Graells is governed by the following rules:
1a. The award is aimed at art schools, design schools, designers and fans of amateur graphic design, to encourage and reward the effort and artistic use of new technologies. It allows participation both individually and collectively, from any geographical location.
2a. Established two different categories of work:
a) Work with dynamic images: any work, using the computer as a tool, integrating elements in motion, with or without user interaction.
b) Work with still images: any work, using the computer as a tool, not showing any movement.
In any case the result will be considered more artistic than not the process, that in all cases shall be exclusively digital.
3a. The theme and the applications used are free.
The works must be original and obviously should be endowed with artistic creativity. Is excluded expressly and automatically copy or reference to any other existing works by other authors.
4a. The work or works will be delivered digitally via email premis@ceina.com
. If it takes up much space, can be delivered in an envelope, recorded on a DVD or CD with the file name, the application that has generated and the technical information necessary for optimal visualization of the work (screen resolution, number of colors, etc..). Within the same thing about it is essential that there is another closed and opaque with the author´s data (name, address, telephone and photocopy of ID), to preserve anonymity initial and an explanatory sheet of what the author seeks to capture in his work. If sent by mail, the data also indicated the state should do.
If members of INCS deems fit, in case of technical problems they may request the assistance of the author, because the jury can see the work without problems.
5a. The works can be submitted until September 28, 2012, at Avenida Europa 7-9, 08700 Igualada, from 9 to 13 and 16 to 21 working days.
6a. Award. Granted the award "City of Igualada
," an original license Corel, and a € 2,000
prize for the best work presented either one or the other category.
Prize
. Consist of an original license and a diploma Corel. The jury may make it void.
The winner of a publication may be submitted to the next, and be invited to join the Panel following the announcement.
In 2013 the award winning City of Igualada
, will conduct a comprehensive exhibition of his work
in some of the rooms that has the City of Igualada

7a. The jury is made by a person of CEINA, three of the city linked to the design world, the winner of last year, a representative of the City of Igualada
, as observers, a representative of each sponsors.
The jury´s verdict is final.
8a. Reading
the verdict and award ceremony will take place on Sunday 25 November 2012, during the awards ceremony artistic city of Igualada
.
9a. The supplies delivered to participate in the prize (disks and other material) will be returned to the candidates, if such request it and collect it at the offices of CEINA, until January 31 of the in 2013.
10a. The works presented are property of CEINA for use in promoting activities related to the award, excluding commercial purposes unrelated to competition and preserving the copyright owner of the work. The winning works will use the INCS as deemed appropriate, understanding that payment of the prize giving developers a choice about the use of the work.
11a. The works presented will be exposed to the public on a website designed specifically for this purpose (www.ceina.com/artdigital
). May be a link to this page from the website of the sponsoring companies.
12a. Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules. Any matter not covered by these rules shall be resolved by the organizers.
